Spent 3days over there last week with Cal Crutchlow, Leon Haslam and Steve Brogan and being completely honest it was the most fun Ive had in as long as I can remember and Ive been lucky enough to travel the world and experience most things... defo recommend it for anything from team bonding to stag do, to honeymoon if your missus is up for it. Great bunch of people fronted by Sal and Ian (whos bloody fast and v-good at teaching riding skills by the way)

From the moment we arrived i loved it.The house and the rooms are fantastic, very Spanish. The view is mind blowing. Ok i didn't keep up with Leon but as a complete novice is was so proud of what i achieved and i can't wait to come back and improve even more. Leon was just in Bikey heaven showing off. Thanks Ian and Sal for giving us a great experience and see you soon hopefully.

We joined a 2 day tour arriving on Friday - leaving on Monday late in February 2010. From the time we arrived, until the time we left, we were very well looked after by everyone at team Redtread! (Nick, Trev and Digger, Sal's mum also makes great toast!) The accommodation and facilities are excellent, the heated floors in the snug/bar area are just what's needed when its wet, or not so hot! The bikes and kit are in good condition, and for an XR250 rider the CRF450's power delivery is very addictive! The trails offer a variety of surfaces and difficulties and the views are awesome. Trev and Digger were always on hand; and approachable for advise on the best way to ride the section - the not so dry riverbed being everyone's favourite! All in all a great weekend - thanks very much and hope to see you again - maybe in Morocco for some sand riding…

We spent 2 days riding over the weekend arriving on Friday, leaving on Monday. From the moment we arrived we were looked after. The rooms were clean and had everything you could need and also came with a great view. The riding was fantastic, the trails seem to go on forever with lots of varied surfaces that require different technique's,Trevor and digger were continuously giving advice and tips throughout the weekend which were so helpful(thanks lads). I especially enjoyed the river section on the second day, unbelievable. Lunch was top notch and the evening restaurants in competa that Nick said about were really good. I rode a 450 which was great and was well maintained. All in all a fab weekend. Thanks Ian,Sal,Nick,Trevor and Digger hopefully see you again, maybe in Morocco.

My first taste of off road biking at 57 and I was talked into going for a full week! I needn't have worried though - Trevor and Digger did a first class job of looking after us all and although the old bones were sore at the end of each day, a few beers in Redtread Towers (AKA "The Gang Hut"), sitting by a roaring log fire well stoked by Barry, gave me a warm, contented glow. Thanks to you all at Redtread Honda, Ian, Sal, Nick, Jane, Barry, Trevor and Digger - what a great week!! I will be back!

in a word, awesome, having come from a road background and knowing nothing about the rough stuff, i found the tuition we received on the first day very good, trevor and digger were top guys, allways willing to help and very patient.
the bikes were great, i used the 230 on the first day being a shortie, then the 450 for the rest of the tour, the power of the 450 was ok but the bike was a tad heavy for me in the technical sections so will probably use the 230 next time i go.
the accomodation was great and the little bunkhouse was like a home from home if you felt like staying in at night and having a home cooked meal, it even had an open fireplace which was well looked after by the resident pyromaniac.
all in all, a great holiday i would recommend to anyone, all the staff went out of their way to ensure you were having a good time and were very friendly.

Third trip to Redtread in January, and what a difference this year due to the poor weather that Spain has suffered. The trails were very different, with lots of washed out areas to keep the mind concentrated! Riding down from the zoo at Pena was interesting due to the snow covering the icy road. Day 3 was great as there was only 3 of us out with Trevor and Digger, thanks to Digger for helping me out of the snow (is that where he gets his name from?). Even Trevor managed 3 or 4 spills (i don't think anyone noticed Trev, but I hope your knee is better!). Thanks to Nick and Rachel back at Redtread base. I will be back (but only when it's warmer).

Did a 3 day ride over Christmas period. Upon arrival it was apparent there had been loads of rain..!! The riding was therefore a lot more technical due to this, so we all learned a lot more than we expected. BONUS!
Ian of course managed to find plenty of routes to test us all. even managing to find a different way to places where the normal road had disappeared. (washed away)
He gave those who needed it plenty of advice / tuition which was much appreciated, ensuring that you were challenged every day & came back knowing you knew more than when you arrived.

Absolutely fantastic! I went out there on my own however I had great fun with all the other guys including Steve Plater IOM TT Champion, North West 200 winner and British Supersport Champion no less. I wondered what I had let myself in for riding in such company. Ian and Trev are first class they push you hard enough but allow you to go at your own pace (fast or slow). Redtread is professionally run by Ian and Sal in a relaxed and friendly manner, Rachael and Nick were great and looked after us really well. The bikes are top notch and set up well, proper pieces of kit to match the demanding terrain, with equally scary names like the “gorge of hell” and the “corkscrew”. All in all it was a great few days with like minded people, never a dull moment - ace! I'm saving up for next year now, perhaps the Sierra Nevada before I get too old and slow!!
I will go again and would advise any motorcyclist to take a good look at Redtread,
By the way Steve what a top guy and great fun, thanks for the soaking!!!

The whole experience at Redtread was mint! From the moment we arrived (early hours sat morning) we were made to feel welcome and it was such a relaxed weekend from the off. Nick and Rachel were great, put up with all the shit from us lot and were always on hand to help out :) The accommodation, bar etc was spot on!!!!
Trev and Digger were great tour guides and had a great system to make sure we didnt loose anyone, though it would of been nice to loose a couple of the northern throttle jockeys lol. The riding was a good mix of all terrains and some awsome views to be seen on the mountain sections, the only thing id say is not to take in the scenery whilst trying to ride at the same time, does get tricky. All in all an amazing weekend and id do it again, and a big thankyou to all the Redtread team for looking after us, cheers johnny
