Just across the Mediterranean - visible on a clear day from Spain - lies Morocco. And because it's there, it must be explored. That simple. A bright yellow painted ex-army ammo truck greets me in Malaga, Redtread's base for its tried and tested trail riding holidays. Ian (the gaffer) has raided the toy chest and the giant vehicle shines out of the gloom festooned with spotlights, jerry cans, shovels and two Honda CRF450 enduro bikes on the back. Nice.

Honda's off-road experience Redtread has opened a new location in Morocco with the first tour scheduled for the start of September. Redtread will be offering week-long guided trips to the Atlas Mountains, although shorter trips can be tailor-made if required. This is their first operation outside of Spain’s Sierra Nevada mountains...
